Here is my week 3 review for this awesome non-traditional diet book Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.
My main goal for following this program is to have more energy. I am starting to notice some differences like not having that early afternoon slump and being a little more “awake” and “ready to go” in the morning. I like that this book provides easy meal planning and great recipe options so I am not having to do a ton of research like with other diet plans.

Week 3 Book Review
I thought the comparison chart with other popular diets was really interesting to see. It really puts things into perspective.
One of the quotes from the books that caught my attention the most was this. “Virtually all traditional diets can be summarized by one word: restriction. They’re all about what you can’t have, and very little about what you can have (and most of the time, the “allowed” choices are unappetizing).”
This is exactly why I have been so against “dieting” for so long. I get really depressed if I have to eat boring, unappealing food. It makes me very sad. When I eat foods that I like, I am excited about it. This book is speaking my language!
This program works in 3 phases. The first phase is all about jump-starting your weight loss so it’s called the “acceleration” phase. It only lasts 2 weeks which to me, is doable. It focuses on eating the right foods but I like that it’s in a quantity of time that doesn’t seem daunting to me.
Delicious Recipes
The Instant Pot Egg White Bites remind me a bit of the ones from Starbucks but even better because I can make them fresh at home. It’s also a great opportunity for me to learn how to use my Instant Pot better. Haha. It still intimidates me a bit. I highly recommend trying this recipe though.
